Four buttons. Power on, set your pressure, hit start. The Mini Pro runs to your number and shuts itself off. Here is what every button does, including the long press shortcuts most people never find.

The Four Buttons
Every button, what it does.
Each button does one thing on a short press and a second thing on a long press. There are no double tap shortcuts on the Mini Pro.
Power button
Power and Start
Long press
Turn the pump on or off. Hold until the screen wakes or sleeps.
Short press
Start or stop inflating. The Pro runs to your set pressure then stops on its own.
Light button
Light and Units
Short press
Cycle the LED light. Steady on, then off. Works while the pump is running.
Long press
Switch between PSI and BAR. Cycles each time you hold it.
Up arrow
∧
Pressure Up
Short press
Raise the target pressure one step at a time.
Long press
Scroll up continuously. Hold it to run from 45 to 100 in a couple of seconds.
Down arrow
∨
Pressure Down
Short press
Lower the target pressure one step at a time.
Long press
Scroll down continuously. Useful when you drop from road pressure to a ball.
Step by step
From off to inflated, in four moves.
01
Turn it on
Long press the power button until the screen lights up.
02
Set the pressure
Press ∧ or ∨ to dial in your target. It opens on 45 PSI.
03
Start pumping
Short press the power button. Hold the pump against the valve so it does not leak.
04
Done automatically
It stops the moment your target is hit. Let the nozzle cool before you unscrew it.
Pump won't start? Check this first.
If the tyre already holds more pressure than the number you have set, the Mini Pro will not run. This is not a fault, it is the auto-stop doing its job, and it is the single most common reason a new pump looks dead. Compare the two figures on screen: the large real time reading is what is in the tyre now, the smaller one is your target. Press ∧ until your target sits above the current reading and it will fire straight up.
Reference
What pressure should I set?
Straight from the manual. Your tyre wall is always the final word, so check there first if it is printed.
What you are inflating
Pressure range
Sports balls
6 to 14 PSI0.4 to 1 BAR
Kids' bicycles
18 to 30 PSI1.2 to 2.1 BAR
10 to 16 inch tyres
30 to 45 PSI2.1 to 3.1 BAR
20 to 30 inch tyres
38 to 55 PSI2.6 to 3.8 BAR
Road bicycle tyres
100 to 120 PSI6.9 to 8.3 BAR
Most e-bike, commuter and mountain tyres sit in the 20 to 30 inch band. 1 BAR is 14.5 PSI.
Nozzles
Which adapter goes on what.
Three in the box, colour coded so you are not guessing on the roadside.
Schrader adapter
White. The fat car style valve found on most mountain, e-bike, kids' and commuter tyres.
Presta adapter
Red. The slim threaded valve on road bikes and most gravel wheels. Unscrew the tip before you connect.
Ball needle
For footballs, basketballs and anything with a pinhole valve. Screws into the end of the hose.
Going above 100 PSI? Use the extension hose rather than sitting the pump on the valve. It stops air escaping at the joint.
Error codes
If the screen shows a code.
The Mini Pro protects itself rather than pushing through a problem. Each code holds for 10 seconds, then the pump shuts down on its own.
E1
Over pressure
Something above 150 PSI is connected. Release pressure and it returns to a normal reading on its own.
E2
Current protection
Startup current went over 12A, usually a stalled motor. Let it rest, then power on again.
E3
Battery too hot
Battery passed 65°C so power to the motor was cut. Leave it 10 minutes and it will run again once cool.
E4
Sensor fault
A sensor is not reading correctly. Restarting the pump normally clears it. If E4 keeps returning, contact us.
E5
Panel not connected
Internal connection issue and the buttons will not respond. This one is a warranty job, get in touch.
LO
Battery low
At 25% or less the battery icon flashes. Charge over USB-C. The pump cannot inflate while it is charging.
Common questions
Quick answers, before you ask.
?
How do I switch from PSI to BAR?
With the pump on, long press the light button, the one with the sun icon between the power button and the arrows. The unit on the display swaps immediately and holding it again cycles back. If you are coming from an original Inflato Mini, note this is different: the Mini Pro has no double tap shortcuts.
?
How do I turn the LED light on?
Short press the light button. One press turns it on steady, another turns it off. It works whether you are actively pumping or just have the pump powered on.
?
I set a pressure and pressed start, but nothing happens.
Your tyre is already at or above the target you have set, so the pump has nothing to do. Press ∧ until the target number is higher than the live reading and it will start. If the live reading shows zero instead, the nozzle is not sealed on the valve, so push it on squarely and try again.
?
Can I stop the pump mid-inflation?
Yes. Short press the power button while it is running and it stops straight away. The live pressure reading stays on screen so you can decide whether to keep going.
?
It stopped after a few minutes and it is not at my target yet.
That is the thermal cutout. The Mini Pro runs for a maximum of 4 minutes continuously, then stops to protect the motor and battery. Give it around 10 minutes to cool and press start again. Only large volume items like a wide MTB tyre from flat should ever hit that limit.
?
The screen went black on its own. Did the pump die?
Auto power off. Leave the Mini Pro untouched for about 90 seconds and it shuts down to save battery. Long press the power button to bring it back. Your last pressure setting is remembered.
?
What's the max pressure I can set?
150 PSI, or 10.3 BAR, with a floor of 3 PSI. That covers road tyres at full pressure with room spare, and sits well above anything a mountain, gravel, commuter or e-bike tyre asks for. Above 100 PSI, use the extension hose rather than holding the pump against the valve.
?
What if I start the pump without setting a pressure?
It uses your last saved target. Out of the box, before you have set anything, that is 45 PSI. Always glance at the smaller preset figure on the display before you press start, because 45 is well under what a road tyre wants and well over what a football wants.
?
How do I reset it back to factory settings?
Hold the light button and the ∧ button together for 3 seconds. That clears the saved settings and puts the target back to 45 PSI in PSI mode. Worth doing if the pump is behaving oddly before you contact us about it.
?
Can I use it while it's plugged in and charging?
No. The Mini Pro cannot inflate while it is on charge. A full charge takes about 1.5 hours over USB-C, and the battery icon flashes once you drop to 25% or below.
?
Why is the nozzle hot after I use it?
Compressing air makes heat, so the hose and nozzle warm up during a long run. That is normal for any electric pump. Give it a moment before you unscrew the nozzle, especially after back to back inflations, and the body will feel warm too.
